This is my original pitch for Bolt Action: Robot Ranger, a character-driven adventure series that mixes oddball humor and sharp wit with fast-paced retro sci-fi action. I’ve since overhauled much of the elements for WEIRDNESS™.

Bolt Action is a robot. Dana Dare is a cop. Together they fight crime!

Fresh off the assembly line, Bolt makes up in enthusiasm what he lacks in experience. Space Ranger Dana Dare provides much-needed practical experience as the duo crosses paths with everyone from unruly space pirates to sentient gas giants with delusions of galactic domination.
